While researching I stumbled upon some youtube videos of old toy sets. Partly through nostalgia and coveting the cool looking machines and gadgets I started watching...

McDonald's Food Maker Sets

The attention to detail with the additional features - hamburger paper wraps, happy meal box and tray and the functional design to make your own burgers (with frying sounds and everything!) from cocoa, cereal, fruit roll ups and biscuits. It even has storage for all the extra bits!

No longer in fashion any more with all the healthy eating idea, but for me this reminds me of the real special occasion of going to said chain restaurant when I was a child. Usually it was just for my birthday, so all the red and yellow was so exciting.

Plus, I loved machines that made things - which in my childhood wasn't that many around but those that did were amazing! I would have loved the whole set when I was little!

Even looking at the boxes I get a childish glee!
