I think I saw info about this exhibition in 2011. What grabbed my attention was the colour, the brightness - I was doing quite a bit with cardboard which I think is the reason why I stumbled upon the work.

The idea of creating space through brightly painted cardboard structures is very appealing - something that is throw-away yet can have presence.

Within the tent development I am looking at the way Serrano uses colour palettes to bring things together, along with a strong 3D, cuboid style.
