My Grandma has always loved to draw and as something to do and share together when I visit I bought her a sketchbook.
Rather than it being a 'formal' thing I chose the slighlty whimsical term of 'doodle book' - to give her less barriers to creating within it's pages.
We are constantly adding to it - taking it on trips out to the park, or just playing 'OXO' as my Grandma calls it.
The images that she creates can be quite telling - some are from when she wan't so well and they are all crossed out and scribbled. Other times she creates clear drawings and smiling faces.
It has become another 'marker' for our family to see how well she is doing.

It can be the seemingly little things that make all the difference.
