Some beautiful work created through folding paper.
There is also a animation of an imaginary interior space. The rooms felt really sparse, yet finely decorated with elaborate ceilings and panelled walls.
It reminded me of the interior spaces of Battlefield 1942 and the work I did for my BA.

Again, this work has the same idea of creating something with nothing. The shadows created through the process of folding makes the shapes and forms within the piece.
And another way of creating beautiful work through a base - paper.
It does make me wonder how it actually creates these pieces though - one false move and a whole wall is out of perspective! Plus, the lines must have to be really crisp to get a good variance in angles on the surface of the paper.
Within my work, I'm drawn to the idea and use of 'nothing'. The creation of shadows through the surface to covey the forms. Through using the blank paper, it removes all ideas of personal taste and superficial decoration - it highlights the actual volume and space within an interior.
