"In this blog we are capturing the process and learning journeys that take place during our monthly Making Conversation workshops.
These workshops are practical sessions for adults, using all your senses to explore Manchester Art Gallery’s exhibitions and displays. Artists Ticky Lowe, Gemma Lacey, Rob Blundell and Naomi Kendrick lead these sessions using gallery displays as inspiration for talking and making.
These sessions are open to all adults and are accessible for blind or partially sighted adults with audio description built into gallery tours and practical workshops. The sessions run on the 3rd Thursday of the month - 1.00 - 4.00pm"
Activities responding to the art work around the spaces at Manchester Art Gallery.
I particularly like the way in which there are activities accross the senses and bodily ways of responding - like sound or spoken words, balance between people (and lycra!) and physical movement inspired by the MIF exhibition - Do It..
