I wanted to also experiment with the size of the image I was creating and what setting it was in.
One way to develop this idea is through the medium of projection.
I can experiment what size the images are, where it is being projected and even what surfaces and textures are underneath - which could affect the end image.

I've just found out that for the Olympic Torch celebrations in Levenshulme the Traders Association is organising a projector for the Village Green. I'm hoping to put together art activities for the Sunday anyway, but I'm thinking that this could be a perfect opportunity to show some of my Levenshulme inspired work on the buildings themselves!
I went to Bolton Art Gallery and Museum this week and saw a animation inspired by the collections there by Emily Howells and Anne Wilkins. Spin, Spun, Span was a film looking at the museum's surrealist art and photography from the 1930s.

I liked the illustrative, eclectic style of this piece. And some of the repetition of images - linking it to the continual, never-ending work within a cotton factory.
My Ideas: I'm wondering whether I could animate my pieces - crossing my architectural kaleidoscope ideas and projection together? I could layer different images together through images on a wall and then projecting onto them.
