Would have really liked to have seen this exhibition. At 82, Kusama comes across as this creative, vibrant and active artist that has a real passion for expression and has found the ability to share this through her dots and art work.
Bright, bold, confident work - must look amazing in a large gallery space.

A very interesting article about the exhibition and her views on art, mental ill-health and dots!
On mental well-being and art:
Kusama said she had been able to channel her illness into her art. "The doctors have said that it is because I have been able to channel it in this way, it has kept it in check and that is also precisely what many people love about my art."
On making money through art:
"People ask about art and commercialism," she said. "I think that if someone tries to sell their work at a high price that is the wrong way of doing it. You should create a work that is so valuable it might eventually sell at a high price but you've got to concentrate on how you create that artwork."
